Philosophies

Why I Got Into Plastic Surgery:

I used to believe that one had to save lives in order to make a real impact in medicine. Through my own life experience, I realized that helping improve patients' quality of life can be just as rewarding. We work on our home, car, and relationships. We should feel just as comfortable working on ourselves.

What is your favorite way to start the day?

My husband starts the day by making me laugh. I enjoy drinking a cup of coffee while I walk my children to school. I am fortunate to spend the rest of the day working with my patients. I am blessed, as my patients often feel like good friends.

How do you learn?

I am a data collector. I will ask many questions and read articles before making a final decision. I have no issue reaching out to people who are considered experts in specific topics. Finally, I learn best by doing.

Your quote to live by:

Well-behaved women seldom make history.

What is on your must-read list:

I enjoy reading female, fiction writers and Hemingway.

How do you define success?

Success is knowing that your family is secure, your patients are happy, and that each day has purpose.
