Dr. Teotia is wonderful. She and her staff explained everything thoroughly and made sure I was comfortable during the procedure. the whole (Cellfina) process from beginning to end was a little under 2 hours. Dr. Teotia followed up with me the next day and made sure I didn’t need anything or have any questions.
A doctor who is gifted technically and an angel emotionally. A staff that has so much love to give, you leave looking forward to coming back. Dr Teotia says breast reconstruction isn’t just a procedure, it is a partnership. And those are not just words. She really means it. I had an infection 3 days before Thanksgiving and she was going out of town. She said that if it didn’t clear up quickly and my chest expander had to come out, she would fly home early to do it. She wouldn’t leave something so traumatic to a doctor on call that I didn’t know. THAT is something you won’t hear from any other doctor. When you call after hours, you don’t get an answering service. Someone from the office has the phone and you get someone you know and who knows you immediately. Even on weekends. As for my breasts, I had one reconstructed after a nipple saving mastectomy and the other done to match. You cannot tell the difference between them. After all the horrifying pictures I saw on the Internet, I never dreamed I would have breasts that not only looked good, but that I am proud of. She is the best.
Dr Teotia is thoughtful, takes her time, and answered all my questions very thoroughly. From initial consultation, to the procedure and follow up appointment, each encounter I had with her was outstanding. I didn’t feel rushed, judged, or intimidated by her which is pretty hard because she’s a plastic surgeon! Very cool doctor!

From the initial consultation to the post op visit, I could not have asked for a better experience.
Dr. Teotia is the consummate professional. She spent over an hour discussing my options regarding the type of implant, size, expectations, etc. I am a registered nurse so I was more than comfortable with the discussions I had not only with the doctor, but Michelle, the patient care coordinator, regarding the fees, scheduling, and basic hand holding! My new implants are amazing and the lower profile is much more pleasing aesthetically speaking. My recovery was very smooth, with little discomfort. I went back to work 4 days after my surgery. I traveled from Midland to Dallas Texas (5.5 hrs.) to have Dr. Teotia perform my surgery and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone! I will upload a current photo very soon to show off my lovely new implants!

My experience at Uptown was Great, couldn’t have asked for a smoother visit, from my pre-admission visit that they got me in right away for to the day of surgery. I also wanted to say that my visit to Dr. Teotia’s office before time of surgery was so personable, they treat everyone like friends. Dr Teotia and her staff are amazing. I knew that she was the one to perform my revision as soon as I met her. Michelle, her surgery coordinator is the best. She got me in right away and went above and beyond helping me get my surgery scheduled the same week. She answered questions 24/7 and made sure everything went perfectly. Audrey, Dr Teotia’s nurse, is also wonderful. She is very comforting, sweet and hands on. I knew immediately upon consulting with Dr Teotia that she was “the one”. Her attention to detail is superb. I have a messy history with breast implants and she took into consideration every bit of information I gave her. I’m only 2 weeks out but know I’m going to be happy with her work. I came to Dr. Teotia with expanders in, one leaking and one not fully expanded. She and her team treated me like a human being with great care and respect. I still can’t believe she took me on as a patient. I had my reconstruction a week ago and I believe Dr. Teotia did everything possible given the horrible situation I presented her with. Dr. Teotia is a delight! She is always patient and interested in listening to my areas of concern. I had initially gotten a breast augmentation to even things out, so to speak. I have scoliosis, which causes nearly everything in my upper body to be disproportional. I was never completely satisfied with the outcome and envisioned myself getting them redone later in life. A little over two years after my first augmentation one of my saline implants ruptured and left me disproportional once again. I went in to see Dr. Teotia and knew right away that this experience would be much better than the last. She worked with me and listened to what I wanted as well as offered the best advice on not only a professional level, but woman to woman. She spoke to me like a person, not just another patient. She was honest with me about what to expect and worked with me towards a goal that we could both be happy with. The outcome went above and beyond my expectations. I’m thrilled with the results and am confident that I will not run into any issues like what I’ve experienced previously. I’m eternally grateful for Dr. Teotia as well as her staff for making my experience so pleasant and helping me regain confidence in my body.

I had Juvederm Plus and Restylane a couple of weeks ago in Dr. Teotia’s office. I absolutely LOVED how the results where immediate.
