Q: What results can I expect from Aveli?
A: Results can be seen in as little as a month after the treatment. Results continue to improve over the course of the first year.
Q: How does Aveli work?
A: A numbing solution is applied to the treatment area. Dr. Teotia will insert the small Aveli device just beneath the surface of the skin, which releases the cellulite-causing bands. Like a rubber band, the treated skin then bounces back and smooths itself out, typically within a month of treatment.
Q: How long does the Aveli procedure last?
A: The one-time procedure takes roughly an hour to perform, depending on the number of areas being treated.
Q: What are the side effects from Aveli?
A: Tenderness, bruising, and swelling are the most common side effects, which resolve with time–typically within a month. Patients may experience discomfort for 2 to 3 days following treatment; however, pain tends to be minimal.
